Vision

"To welcome active participation in all the CoPP community offers and manage visitation while continuing to be respectful of the place and its people"


Mindful of the intent of the community vision expressed within the Council Plan, the vision outlined for tourism is intended to reflect those agendas, and remain consistent with that plan. In particular, the vision strives to include a focus on;


• More visitation opportunities for locals to participate and enjoy
• Visitors respect the places they visit
• Positive support for the local tourism industry

To achieve the vision, the City of Port Phillip developed a three-year strategy which seeks to encourage local participation, welcome visitors, continue to develop and respond to the industry and promote respectful behaviour of everyone that enjoys what our community has to offer.
