Pilot Green Business programme

In 2010/2011 Council implemented a pilot Green Business Program to engage with small to medium enterprises (SME’s) in a neighbourhood activity centres.  This program focused on auditing the energy use of a targeted group of businesses and presented the owners with a range of options to improve efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

The City of Port Phillip is now focused on extending the Green Business Program to encompass two to three neighbourhood activity centres per year in Port Phillip until June 2014, when all designated activity centres will be offered the opportunity to participate in the program.
