Footpath Trading

A Footpath Trading Permit is required for any of the following items on the footpath:

• Table and chairs

• Display of goods

• Advertising sign

• Cafe Barriers / Screens
  

• Glass Screens
  

• Heaters (Standalone or fixed)

• Awnings

Applying for a Footpath Trading Permit? Please read and complete the following:

1. Read the Footpath Trading Guidelines 2005 (pdf/2mb) together with the Precinct Specific Guidelines;

2. Read Council's Footpaths Activities Local Law No. 7; and 

3. Download, complete and submit a Footpath Trading Application Form 2008/2009 (pdf/0.3mb)  together with the  Site Plan grid.

Transfer of Ownership - Change of ownership of a business

Temporary Permit - Short term permit for traders
